BIOGRAPHY

Sabrina Asiani is a musician, singer, teacher, songwriter based in Milan, he graduated from the Civic Jazz Courses of Franco Cerri and Enrico Intra, studying vocal technique with the jazz singer Francesca Oliveri. She studied complementary piano, harmony, singing, and gospel choir. During these years, she participated in various jazz events in Milan such as Le Trottoir, Le Scimmie, Le Banque, De Sade, and Capolinea. She collaborated with director Paolo Trotti in various theatrical performances as an extra, worked as a chorister, and participated in the musical by ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER at Teatro Bonci in Cesena.

 

She participated as a singer in various formations at the Iseo Jazz festivals. For many years, she studied vocal technique privately with vocal coach Luca Jurman in the language of soul music, meanwhile singing in various bands. She also studied jazz piano and vocal improvisation with Maestro Mario Gagliardi and collaborated with numerous artists at both national and international levels for public and private events like Aperitif in Jazz at Teatro del Popolo di Gallarate and Baveno Jazz Festival.

She works as an author and songwriter, supported by numerous arrangers and composers like Federico Spagnoli, Eros Cristiani, Alessandro Esposito, Jerry Kay, and Claudio Fontana.

 

In recent years, she has released various singles and albums, ranging from jazz standards (EP "Backstage" in 2018 with multi-instrumentalist Mario Gagliardi under the Italian Way Music label) to pop melodic tunes like "Coi capelli in su" and "Scusami se sono qui" in collaboration with Federico Spagnoli in 2019. In 2020, with the album "AK" written with Jerry Kay (distributed by Italian Way Music) and the single "Basterebbe una bugia" (Mediterranean Records), she experimented with the fusion of jazz and electronic music.

 

In the same year, with the song "Vecchio matto," she opted for a reggae jazz arrangement, and following with the pop song "Cio’ che lasci di te" in 2022, she began collaborating with pianist, multi-instrumentalist, and composer Claudio Fontana. In June 2023, the EP "LAZY DAYS" was released, a joint project by Sabrina Asiani and Claudio Fontana, showcasing their production of jazz songs and more.

 

Additionally, she has devoted herself increasingly to Vocal Coach activity. She has worked with various professionals, guiding them in music and vocal technique. She has also supported production companies in launching new artists, assisting in the arrangement of vocal parts for their unreleased songs. 

 

At Christmas of the same year, they released "Magic Winterland," her first Christmas song in her career.
